Family owned and operated, serving Baltimore’s best steamed crabs! In 1991, Captain Harry Foote, a commercial waterman, opened a seafood market in Nottingham to sell his daily catch of the iconic Maryland blue crabs.

During the Maryland crabbing season, Captain Harry and his son Jesse dedicate six days a week to catch local Maryland crabs from the Chesapeake Bay ensuring the freshest catch for our customers.

Located at 4569 Ridge Road, we continue our family tradition of hand-sorting every bushel to ensure our customers only take home the best. Using a signature blend of spices that has made our steamed crabs a local favorite in Perry Hall, White Marsh, and beyond. From our wild caught steamed shrimp to our lump crab cakes, every item on our menu is a reflection of our commitment to freshness.

In 2024, Captain Harry’s Seafood was purchased by Harrison & Ross Lockhart, Baltimore natives with a lifelong passion for hospitality, exceptional food, and outstanding service. After a successful food truck venture named Cruising Crab, the Lockhart brothers, having served only Maryland crabs and steamed shrimp for four years, decided to expand by acquiring Captain Harry’s Seafood.

Building upon the Foote family’s 30-year legacy, Harrison and Ross expanded Captain Harry’s offerings to include Maryland crab cakes, fresh fish, soft crabs, snow crab legs, and more.
